Welcome to Greendale's Annual Best Corpse Competition. This is VFX pro Jason Lei Howden's 2nd full length feature film as newb writer and director, and he delivered. Think Gamer meets Suicide Squad and you end up with mindless fun entertainment with stunning visuals, and I do mean stunning. The story was fun and the directing on point with excellent cinematography and VFX. I was pleasantly surprised that Daniel Radcliffe pulled off his character extremely well. For that matter, all cast performances were great. The score was very fitting and the 95 min runtime and pacing were just right. Sad to see the undeserving low ratings, this film has great qualities - especially considering it's from a new filmmaker, and it was really fun and funny! A well deserving 9/10 from me.

I have several questions: How do you even reload those? Using your feet? Mouth? Where would you even get extra mags froms. Man he was soooo good in Imperium and Swiss Army Man. I love that he keeps picking these strange roles. 'Ah yes: the FOURTH Deathly Hallow! The Death's own bolted-on Desert Eagles. Every workers dream. Daniel Radcliffe is a living meme. So anyway, I started casting. I am not into violent movies and i went to see this only because of Daniel Radcliffe, who is one of today's most versatile actors. And he did not disappoint, giving his all in a badass yet endearing performance. Despite the violence, the story is gripping enough to keep one interested. Samara Weaving provides good support as a rival who becomes his sidekick. The pace is tight, and there are enough humorous lines to provide much-needed comic relief. Still, i don't think i would have liked this movie as much if Daniel Radcliffe wasn't the lead. For me, the movie scores because of him.

But then you taste it and it's fun, at least for most people it crosses the "enjoyable" barrier.
Same thing happens for that movie. In the beginning it feels like the film tries to gather all the (excuse me for that) WTF moments it can get into one full sweep... And it succeeds until the action kicks in and the whole thing rolls with a pretty good level of smoothness, making you forgive the film for its rocky start.
On the acting side, Daniel seems like he is making small steps of improvement, while Samara Weaving and Ned Dennehy act their part quite well to be honest.
A 7 out of 10 for me... Depends on the expectations though...

I really enjoyed this film, one of those "you kinda need to be in the mood to watch. Action scenes were first class and plenty of witty one liners in there too.
Don't expect a classic storyline, however if you are looking for non-stop cheesy action, give this a look.
